Two Detroit Girls is a collaboration between two creative, web-savvy, media mavens who grew up in the city of Detroit. We specialize in simple, unique, and affordable web design, development, Web 2.0, and social media marketing. We obviously spend a lot of time nerding it up on our respective computers, but we also love spending time in the city, meeting new people, giving back to the community, and kicking it with our friends. We’re pretty good friends too, come to think of it.

Gana is an experienced web developer who enjoys hand coding for fun. She grew up on Detroit’s West Side where her interest in web development began as the Internet age emerged.

Her most notable work has been designing graphics and developing websites for the Detroit Trading Company.

Gana continues to stay updated with current trends in web development and media by taking design, technology, and marketing courses.

Margarita has been involved in multimedia since 1998 when she started printing her own zines and designing websites. Since then she has done work for Mudd Jeans, Airshop Catalog, Planet KiKi, Michigan Business Review, Latino U. Magazine, and CBS Radio, to name a few.

She’s was hailed as Detroit’s “Zine Queen” in 2006 for publishing Tint Magazine, the multicultural ‘zine for young women that ran from 2004-2007. Margarita has since garnered several media nods, including features in Ellegirl Magazine, CosmoGIRL magazine, Crain’s Detroit, YPulse, and Midwstern Goodness.
